Conquest Battles

Perhaps one of the most involving modes, conquest incorporates the fun of the previous two modes but adds a ‘capture the base’ twist.  Two teams of two pitch themselves against each other in this points-based system. Each team must hold set checkpoints or bases for as long as possible while defending opponent attacks. The more bases a team holds, and the long the time they hold them, the more points the team gets. Special checkpoints and power-ups still apply, but once a player has lost all their health points, they must return to their home base before re-entering the game.

Aimed for 16 years old and over, this mode adds another aspect to an already involving activity: Live fire mode. In live fire mode, the cannons on the robots are switched from laser mode to ball bearing mode. The robots armour is changed from 'light activated impact mode' to 'physical impact mode'. Impact area is reduce and difficulty is dramatically increased. 

Would you risk an all or nothing mode of this game where by once you lose you health points, there are no revives……?
